Hello & Welcome to PostCard Pals!
This is your first step to a wonderful and rewarding pastime, the art of lettering and postcarding. I cannot tell you the joy of friendship that awaits you! And, what you’ll receive from it is exactly what you put into it together as PostCard Pals!
My daughter and I came up with this idea after traveling overseas this past year to visit my “Forever Friend”. Years ago, I also sent in my $12 to be paired with a pen pal. At the time, the company’s name was “Forever Friends”. That was sixteen years ago. I can tell you from experience that it was the most rewarding $12 I have ever spent. Not always did we have time to write, but I always knew my Forever Friend was there for me and I for her. Then it seemed just when I needed encouragement the most, I would receive an unexpected gift in the mail. How it changed my life!
This is what we would like to pass onto you as we “pay it forward.” This is your opportunity to change someone’s life and be changed in our homeschooling community. After you receive your PostCard Pal it is all up to you what you make of it. Meet that someone if you like or keep it to correspondence only. It’s a great homeschool tool as well! You will be writing and journaling for a reason then looking forward to that response in the mail.
As we launch this new program, I am going to ask that everyone is patient to receive his/her matched PostCard Pal’s information. We will be receiving applications and pairing them the first several months. However, you should receive your PostCard Pal’s information in the mail the first part of the school year. And, if we cannot match your child you will be totally refunded. No worries!
