Alabama Homeschool Academy was started in September 2005 by Chris & Sonya Bowman. They have been homeschooling their children for 9 years. Mr. & Mrs. Bowman have served on a homeschool board or oversight committee since they began homeschooling.
We are a homeschool covering that reaches out to anyone who wants to homeschool their children in Alabama regardless if they have been homeschooling for years or if they are just getting started.
We specialize in assisting parents who are homeschooling for the first time after their children have attended public or private school. The Bowman's have had first hand experience as their oldest child was in public school for 4 years.
We also dedicate ourselves to assisting parents who homeschool their children who have special needs.
